Defiance Actions $hits on Canadians

Defiance used to export to a handful of dealers in Canada, however will no longer support those dealers. If you haven't, you should check out the current prices on Defiance's website, they are out of this world. If you want a Defiance action we recommend contacting a dealer who has inventory as any new inventory is subject to their revised pricing

LOL at the new Tenacity pricing. That'll be around $2k CDN with exchange. We have so many other good options that I won't feel bad if I don't buy another Defiance action.

Not to completely defend their latest choice , that said I had a friend with a firearm shop in the US. The export permits he had to pay for were expensive to the point of making the sale of low profit items not possible. The permits were divided into rifle/shotgun/pistol catagories and allowed a set number of pieces to be exported before having to pay for additional license fees. Permits for shotguns were the cheapest and he eventually let the other catagories expire. This was a few years ago , although is something the consumer may not be aware of in the business costs.

A company is in business to make money - I remember a boss I had during the annual Christmas speech - he said if your earing 50K you have to make me more than 50K per year if you don't do not expect an increase and he underscored this by saying each and everyone of you can and will be replaced. He was raw/rude but you have to respect someone who doesn't sugar coat it and says' it the way it is.

As for this company no longer selling to Canada no they are not $hitting on anyone - it's a business decision am sure they are well aware of the political climate in Canada.

Well kinda true. But in 2020 it has transitioned from State department to Department of commerce. Permits no longer cost anything.

With the increase in price (think +70% to your door in Canada) and recent company info, I doubt they'll survive with their current product line.

Was good run, but I won't be taking any chances with them going forward. Which is unfortunate as I must have ordered and received 10+ Defiance actions the last few years.

They will change their new business model within 12 months. If they don’t they won’t need employees anymore.

I've reached out to Defiance and I was told they're temporarily halting new orders for exportation, but if you have an existing order with a deposit they are working to fulfill those orders. I'm still waiting to hear back from the dealer I purchased from
