Defiance DMK 22 Rifle

I'm guessing 10/22 barrels. I'd also be interested in the restriction class. Might have to do more digging, though it will be quite a while before it's available.

What's the point in buying a restricted 22LR rifle? It could only be used at the range.
Obviously, if it would be classified as restricted which I guess it would be as anything restricted that is even remotely related to the "AR" in this country of ours. And the price in Canada would be likely close to $650-700 for a restricted 22LR carbine? Not for me.

What do you mean by "a restricted .22LR"? If you mean a .22LR HANDGUN that makes a big difference at least to me vs. a restricted .22LR rifle!
yes, I forgot the word pistol.

different strokes for different folks.

I prefer to shoot cheap .22LR than more expensive center fire, so if I can get a reliable .22LR in an AR package, color me interested. :)

Both restricted 22LR rifles and non-restricted 22LR rifles shoot the same cheap (relatively) 22LR ammo. So there is no difference here. However, the restricteds can only be shot at the range. I do it regularly with my 22LR pistols and I have no problem with it because that's the ONLY way I can use them. No other alternative exists.
Non-restricted .22LR rifles I can shoot nearly ANYWHERE (obviously where it's legal to discharge a firearm). That's what makes a big difference to me. Why would I pay $650-700 for a restricted Defiance DMK 22 Rifle (or whatever AR in .22LR) which I could only shoot at the range? Makes no sense to me.
