Planning of using this for my next rifle, have some questions though, tried asking the Company but no response yet,
So hows your overall impression, can I use a generic 700 Trigger and if paired with a chassis , will. AiC ( MDT) mags works? Lecture me on this, Thanks

Never handled one personally but have played with the Defiance Deviant line. The Tenacity is a 700 footprint action so any 700 pattern accessories (trigger, chassis, etc) should fit. As long as the chassis is set up for AICS pattern mags, they should run no problem whether they are MDT, AI, Accurate, Magpul.

It will accept any R700 triggers and will drop into any R700 footprint chassis. AICS pattern mags will work. Like any mag fed rifle, you may have to do some slight tweaking of the magazine feed lips to optimize feeding, but the action is designed with AICS mags, such as the MDT ones, in mind.

I don't own one, but reviews are fairly good. I have a close friend that has one, and he seems to like it. Other comparable actions in that price range are Kelbly Atlas Tactical, ARC Nucleus, and Bighorn Origin.

Thanks gents, was looking at one of the dealers, was almost ready to pull the trigger, checked it tonight and is sold out, too slow lol

Tenacity - big horn, real precision shooting and em precision can fix you up. Hard to beat for 1200 range. Gunwerls grb is another.

Well, just placed my order last night for Tenacity 308 BF from GBT, hope the action I’ve ordered will work with AICS MDT mags, it doesn’t give me the option on the scroll tab, but did a comment on my order, hope GBT will see it, will also send email to him

Should work fine with any AICS pattern magazine.

Magazine fit and function is dependent on the action, stock, bottom, etc., but assuming that everything is made for the AICS pattern mags (which pretty much all mag fed R700 pattern actions and accessories all), then all that should be made to work is some slight tweaking of the magazine to optimize feeding (that goes for any mag fed system).

Here's a primer video to get you started on optimizing your mags, start at 1:40:

Update this thread when you get it in hand. Curious about this action as well. Thanks and congrats

For sure I will, although I would go with the old 308, can’t decide if I go with Bartlein or Krieger and twist 1:10 or 1:11 for 24”-26” bbl, see myself shooting 155-178gr.,

1:10 is an excellent all around twist rate for .308.

Both of those barrel manufacturers are top notch, not a bad decision to be made between those two.

I have a tenacity sitting on my kitchen table. Waiting for the barrel so I can chamber it up for a buddy. It will be a 280 AI, with an IBI barrel and graybo stock.
First impressions it seems nice. Everything feels way better and smoother than a Remington.
I haven’t measured it to see how it is.
Finish on it is nice, integral recoil lug is nice.
One weird thing is they claim how tight there tolerances are, but don’t supply a print.
Barrel should be here next week.
Will know more after that.

my experience jn a nutshell... purchased a DEFIANCE action... through Corlane Sports that I didn't see or use till the build was completed... upon receiving IT.... IT had a grindy noise at the bridge area... I was caught in the middle as the neither DEFIANCE OR CORLANE would take responsibility.
DEFIANCE claimed that the action must have been altered during the build process.
It was a sad, depressing and disappointing experience.
Well not saying it’s there fault. But from past experiences with corlanes quality Of workmanship I have seen. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if they screwed something up.
Last one I took apart they had done. They used red Loctite on the threads to hold the barrel on, and I am sure everyone knows why.
Tenon cut to wrong length. Chamber cut way to long.
List goes on.
Just saying my experience with there work.

Man that sucks. I would be pissed to shell out that much money on a custom only to be dropped by the builder and action maker. Sorry man.

Yikes

Sometimes it's more expensive to try to do things cheaply. The amount of time and money that some of my friends have had to spend in order to fix problems caused by going with a cheaper product or gunsmith is astounding.

You usually get what you pay for...
