Often I see posts where Gunnutz say a cartridge is boring.
For instance it is often posted on this site that a 30-06 round is boring.
I would like to hear from those who think so and what determines this?
In a hunting sense I do not see the value of having an entertaining
round chambered (please enlighten me to what is an entertaining round as opposed to a boring one). I am looking for a round that will do the job.
I find I am entertained by the scenery and thrill of the chase, and this is in no way diminished by the round that is chambered in my rifle
Or am I missing something here and do all factory cartridges other than 30-06 come with trivia etched on the brass like pringle potato chips and sweet tart candies?
Just asking
Timo
