Anyone here familiar with Del-Ton. Are they available in Canada? Who carries them? They seem to be in the same price range as a Norinco just wondering how they stack up.

I dont think the Del-Ton or Model 1 stuff is available in Canada through any suppliers. Really cheap build kits if you already have a stripped lower. Too bad we cant get them up here. I know the wont ship to Canada. I'd stick to getting stuff from the site sponsors. They have done all the heavy lifting and paperwork to get the stuff into Canada. I cant comment on the Norinco AR. All my AR stuff has been made in the States. I dont know if I'd go hamburger hill with a Norinco AR but I see them at the range from time to time.
 
Everything I have ever heard of Del-Ton suggests stay the hell away. There's lots of reasonably priced alternatives that are proven solid. Now that prices have returned to normal, there really is no reason why you'd risk a ####tty build for saving a few bucks in the short term, only to spend a lot more in the long term
 
The upper/lower of a Del-Ton AR15 are made from good quality forgings.
Anchor Harvey, Cerro Forge etc

Don't settle for a Norinco.
