I have the bolt slowly back out if I am doing a long run of many hundreds of rounds (think 9mm). I just keep an eye and tighten it now and again. If it is a real problem I'd put a lock washer on it as well.
I have the wrench that goes into the shell holder notches to get a good reef on tightening it.
THis is one of the things that really bothers me about my LnL AP. I too use a lock washer. I tried an o-ring first and that did not work.
My next fix is to machine a flat delin round plate/ washer about 3/4" or so in diameter (as big as I can make it without interfering with the shell casings) and place the lock washer between the delrin and the bolt head, as I find the lock washer on its own creates a lot of drag / friction.
Yup, I use a lock washer as well but it eventually loosens after around 250-300rnds. Annoying but I just got into the habit of snugging it down after 2packs of primers.
With my LNL I a lock washer for a grade 8 bolt. It's between the bolt head and the washer. I tighten it just snug and it doesn't come loose even after several hundred rounds.

I had called Hornady support about it and they also suggested a lock washer. Just finished up 2500 rounds and it is still tight versus having to tighten it every few hundred before the lock washer.
interesting. My press is about ten years old so it has the old style ejection wire that folds under the the two tier washer. I looked around the house and found a copper washer that fit. Its not a lock washer but it seems to have helped a lot. I didnt really move after 200 rounds.
I have to tighten it down a lot. which threw my timing out. So i adjusted the timing. Its not very smooth but its the only way that seems to work.
Thanks for the help. I will head to home depot tomorrow and try the lock washer.
