If you don't get an answer soon I could ask my welding buddy he welded some turbo header flanges that were cracked right through never would have known they leaked now.
 
It can be repaired but most likely it would be cheaper to replace . talk to marstar and see if they are willing to help you out. other than that sarco or ebay.
 
"...is it doable..." Anything can be done with enough time and money. Suspect this one would be about money. The rivet wouldn't be a big deal, but the weld might be.
 
I would try to find a replacement part first from one of the full-auto parts companies in Canada first. They aren't making them anymore, but not guys aren't wearing them out either.

I once went into my favourite gunsmith's with a cracked G43 firing pin housing and asked if he could weld it up. Just a sec' he sez, and disappears. He came back with one from the parts bin, leftover from the previous shop owner. He didn't know what it was. It saved a possibly weak welding job. And, he got $30 for dead stock.
