I have one in 22lr/410 that is Springfield marked and love it.Both barrels shoot to the same point of aimo I generally just use the one sight setting and is Suprisingly accurate .Mine also has a nice trigger pull .The only mod I ve made to mine is I added a sling to it.

I'll have to get a pic of mine at some point. I have a 22lr/410 as well and the blue plastic case it came with. Mines just like the one above, but I wrapped the barrels in para cord and mounted a 2.5" long scope rail and Bushnell First Strike red dot on it.

Nice. When you added your sling, did you tie it on or add a rear stud and find a swivel to fit the undersized front hole?

Did you notice a change of impact after wrapping the barrels? I’ve considered wrapping mine but read the poi changed dramatically. And did you just retrofit a base or did you find an original (or get one from tps)?

I wrapped the barrels in a figure 8 pattern, going between the barrels with each wrap, with one length of cord from one end to the other. I didn't wrap it really tight just snugged the cord up as I went. I also made 2 para corded .410 shell holders on the right side of the barrels for quick access for 2 shells. I didn't notice any change in poi by wrapping it how I did. The rail I made from a spare I had, I cut it down, drilled the holes to fit the mounting holes on the M6 and had some screws here that I used to mount it.

It looks as if you can drive out pins and remove the guard. You can't. Those pins have a larger inner diameter; they, and the guard, would have been installed when the frame was folded. I did remove the guard by trying to drive out the pins. This is how I found out. I did spring the frame enough to remove the pins and guard, and then pressed the frame back together. No harm done, but I was worried for a moment. I prefer the guardless version, but the lawyers probably objected.
When these were first released, I contacted Springfield to see if they would make a 14" version for Canada. Like the USAF original. They understood that 14" would be legal here, but would be a NFA firearm in the US. Manufacture and export would have been much more complicated, so that never happened.

I'd have bought on of those. :)

I have had three..one stainless 22/410, and two blued 22/410...the two blued were Springfield. and the stainless I can't remember..I am old. They all shot about the same like mos things that passed through my hands they were a novelty. I was lucky to buy all of mine for around the $400 mark, even the one the last one that was not too long ago. My problem is that I wear glasses and I did not like the factory sights, I did have a scope base for one, but I was not a fan of having glass on it. Leaving it in the quad box or behind the truck seat was one of the bonuses.

I have a Springfield CZ version in 22 Hornet and 410.
Keep in mind at 100 yards from a rest try to avoid groups like you expect from a normal full size rifle.
The cold bore shot will be pretty much spot on.
However with only a minute or so cool down time the subsequent shots creeped downwards with about zero change in windage.
Downwards almost one inch each time. One hour of cool down time brought it to cold bore zero. It is believed to be caused by how the barrels are joined at the front.
Not really a big issue if you are forewarned.
But at 25 and 50 yards this warm barrel variation was mitigated to almost nothing.

As far as I know, the last M6s were made in the Czech Republic. No idea if the tooling still exists. I am sure there would be a market for a 14", no trigger guard version for the Cdn. market. This would duplicate the original issue version, would fold to fit in a tool kit, pack, etc.
These are a rather basic firearm, but reverse engineering and tooling from scratch would be a hurdle.

I do own a second one in 22 LR/410.
It has a Burris Fastfire red dot 3 MOA size.
Just about perfect for the often dark boreal forest.

Both my M6 combination guns made by CZ and have full choke. Which is pretty terrible for a slug however it's the bee's knees for birdshot and buckshot.
It's impossible to complain about rolling bunnies at a full thirty yards with #7.5.
Can any of you owners of the earliest Springfield confirm your shotgun choke please?

Curious here.....
