I do own a second one in 22 LR/410.
It has a Burris Fastfire red dot 3 MOA size.

How did you mount the Fastfire?

On the factory supplied optics base.
IIRC via two mounting screws. I understand the original Ithaca M6 did not have factory option for optics. I am unsure of the first Springfields.
Mine is the CZ Springfield.

I'm looking for the Springfield 22mag/410 in Stainless if one of you guys know where it can be found.
Paying extra top dollars . I want the trio 22lr-22hornet-22mag.

Nice. When you added your sling, did you tie it on or add a rear stud and find a swivel to fit the undersized front hole?

Did you notice a change of impact after wrapping the barrels? I’ve considered wrapping mine but read the poi changed dramatically. And did you just retrofit a base or did you find an original (or get one from tps)?

My .22 barrel’s POI rose about 3” at 25, conveniently this put just above the sights, and it didn’t change with use. I wrapped pretty tight, I also wove it between the barrels and used two pieces of cord, went one direction, and then came back with the other cord and spliced it between the loops of the first. Ends up rock solid.

Does anyone know the value of a stainless Springfield/CZ M6 Scout in .22lr/.410? It has had less than 50 rounds through it.

I wish I still had mine. What is the current value of the m6 scout? Cheaper to have an original or new manufacture from tps arms?
Only thing I didn't like on the originals was the take down pin. Thinking the .357/ 410 combo from tps arms would be interesting
