not marked vostok but i peeked on google and its not a bi-athalon gun its in a hunting type of stock/......................look on youuu tuube ...........toz-16 theres a cpl video of the exact looking rimfire rifle.

sent a message to western gun parts /..................am told by members this is about 20 to 30 years old .......... ANY HELP / LEADS MOST WELCOMED.
 
I believe the belled muzzle is a flash suppressor - and yes the rifles are quite accurate. The triggers are not the best and can be the rifle's biggest betrayal.
 
i messaged western gun parts ...............kinda weird replys ......................i stated the make = toz-16 they said they have a BOX OF BOLTS ..........BUT WONT SELL only to a gunsmith..........wich theres non in my area / bathurst nb.

they then reply saying ..............quote--

Made the gun for like 60 years. Never printed manuals, schematics etc.
Some say their original owner's manuals from the gun when new have a schematic but we have never seen one in person.

WGP is a good business to deal with. Older "used" parts are not all in inventory (cataloged part #'s). Example: I needed a firing pin for an old Riverside 12g shotgun. I brought in the old pin and a gent brought out a metal tobacco tin full of firing pins of all shapes and sizes...literally hundreds of used pins. After sorting through the pile I found one close to what I needed. For you, ordering a bolt (new or used) will be hit and miss. Not the best answer your looking for.....good luck in your search.
 
I have one of these rifles. It's a light and accurate shooter if handled the right way. If you close the bolt and allow it to #### the trigger is heavy with a long pull.
If you hold the trigger down while closing the bolt and then manually pull the rear of the bolt back to #### it there is a huge amount of take up but the trigger is incredibly light when it does break.
It's also about the quietest .22 I have. I suspect the bell shaped muzzle has something to do with directing the sound downrange.

It's worth finding the right bolt for the gun. I think you'll like it.
 
i got one of those too,,deadly accurate,,got it about 35 years ago,,,you realize these things where made in the TULA factory..a famous Russian military arms maker..might be why they are so well built and wickedly accurate,,,and the funky muzzle seems to make people talk,,
