my store that I have had this gun on order for over a year has access to the 3 that are destined for Canada. They are probably taking all of them, and since they are not a sponsor is it proper to ge a PM and pass the information along to those who wish to get a entry level .223 TO COMPETE WITH, instead of getting a 3000 dollar custom job. The guns may be available as early as next week. I may take 2 of them in case a friend wants one as you will not be getting one for another year. I will look at my PMs from the past and let the one guy know they may be here in case he has waited a year also.

It is only because there is only to be 3 in Canada and this store had reserved all 3 that I am making this post, if it is improper then please remove it, (note I am reporting this post to the moderators to ensure if it is not proper that I am not punished and that it gets removed quickly)
so there will only be one available (unless savage made a pile more for canada which I doubt as this was the only one on order from the canadian rep for over the last 9 months).
I am just trying to be helpful as how else would anybody know other than the locals who may not understand what they are looking at and the big box stores do not have it as a standard catalogue item and they refuse ot order it as have the 4 forum dealers i contacted.
As well I invite all the forum dealers to call and see if they can scoop these guns up (leave mine please) as all of us would rather support a forum dealer but this seems to be an exception
