You put your sight on backwards. Flat side towards muzzle and sloped side towards your eye. :)

Firstly, you should mount it reverse. Secondly, that's not a gas block sight... looks too short. You gotta exchange it for the right item.

I run my Troy front sight folded forward. I find it easier to pull the sight up, then push it forward. It over hangs a little over my rail to add to the grip when I am wearing gloves. Which is all the time.

Geez! Silly me! It is on backwards... :redface:

And it's really a gas block height sight. The alignment with the BUIS looks ok. But I'll have to check it out on the range.
