So i bought an ATI stock for my sks and the rifle fits inside it well. But if my safety is in the on position im able to push my rifle right out of the stock and the only way it will stay inside is if my safety is in the off position. I have tried looking to see if its catching on something but there are no marks showing signs of any rubbing. Wondering if anyone has had problems with this yet.

Is the little "catch" behind the trigger guard engaging? When you assemble the gun the saftey must be engaged, put the barrel/reciever in the stock. The put the magazine in, then trigger group. Press in firmly on the trigger guard and there should be a good solid click. Other wise the stock may need some fitting.

Ya SuperJohn I have done everything you said and I here the click but as soon as I put the safety to the ON posistion I can push on the trigger guard and pop the gun out of the stock. Only stays in when safety is not engaged. Bandit what do these clamps look like and where did you buy them. I think im missing a tab or something.
