Wondering if any guys have played around swapping parts between 870 express and super magnums? Taking the guns apart, most internal parts looks the exact same and even though Remington says not to swap them - Just liability BS isn't it? Would they really go to the trouble of making different 870 parts for just the super mag?

Just compare Part #'s of the parts you want to swap. I don't recall Remington saying not to swap parts, some parts do interchange. Some parts are different, the longer 3.5" shell needs more room to cycle through the process.
