Found a picture online of what appears to be German's armed with SMLE's.

It is a ####ing brutal obvious fake to anyone with even a slight knowledge of German arms which makes me even more mad because someone with no knowledge can be ripped off by that.

I think its a M24 Chaffee made up to look like a Pz.Kpfw. III with the long 50mm.
It's American, the christie suspension gives it away

And it is a nice rifle for a good price. Apparently it has a stamp on it that drives purists into a rage.
Me, I'd just shoot it and enjoy for what it is. A neat old LE.
