If it is really really good shape and possibly never fired, I'd be asking $700 to start, if there was no reasonable offers I'd drop the price to $600. A bit of an underrated rifle IMO, but you could get a much newer stainless Ruger scout for something like $200-300 more.

In a few years from now folks will say "I wish I would have bought a few of them when they were only 4-500 bucks a piece" though I'll bet ya.

I wish they made them in lefties, and the other calibers will draw a bit more money, I'd love to have a .350 Mohawk

I'm finding out some people will pay good $
for a minty Rem 600 even in 308.
More than 700.00 lol
I wish it was a 350 Rem Mag or 6.5..
Would be neat to collect them all.

It sounds like you found a buyer for a price that works well for you?

So do many people on this thread. If you got over $700 I would recommend taking some proceeds and buying a lottery ticket. Then change your phone number.

I have the later version the Mohawk in 308 love that little gun . my neighbour growing up had a 600 in 6mm rem .that little gun killed a lot of big bucks over the years has he had 7 kids to feed . an other neighbour had the 660 in a 308 which shares the same action as the 600 and the Mohawk . as a teenager I got to hunt with both these rifles and probably explains my love for that little action with its dog leg bolt handle .

I've bought a few 600s in 308 and I've never paid over $400, a couple of them were in very good shape. If you can get over $500 I'd take it! I've owned enough to know I won't be buying anymore.

I have a love/hate relationship with 600/660's. They can be turned into ###y little rifles, but it can be expensive and you most likely won't get your investment back out. I've sworn them off many times, but always seem to end up with one....

If I ever finish my stock duplicator, I have a stock pattern I made that I would like to duplicate in laminate.

At one time I thought a 600/660 in .350 magnum would have been the ideal big game rifle for use in south east MB where I spent much of my wasted youth. But sometimes the idea of a certain rifle exceeds its reality. There can be no argument concerning the usefulness of a little carbine chambered for powerful medium bore cartridge, but I couldn't warm up to the feel of these little rifles, the blind magazines, or plastic where bottom metal belonged. The laminated stock on the 600 combined with the vent rib and shark fin front sight was sufficiently gaudy to make a MK-V Weatherby complete with inlays appear somewhat mundane. The stock had too many square cuts for my tastes. The M-7 Remington is a significant improvement over the 600, in fact, the M-7 Kevlar and M-7 full stock rifles would be tough to improve upon.

I sold a 308 Mohawk to a guy on here for $450 about 15 years ago. Never missed it lol.

My first CF rifle was a 660 in 308, my Dad had its bigger sister in 350. I was all of about 10. Killed a few bears with it.

Yes 15 years ago.
I will never hunt with it.
The plastic barrel ribbing would not last. I think this rifle would be a great addition to a collection

My .243 600 was hunted for years before I had it. And I’ve hunted with it close to 15 years now and the rib is still in tact. Just some bluing wear around the muzzle. Other than that it’s near mint

Rem 600 in 308.
I have had this in my safe for close to 20 years. Never shot it or carried it. Never hunted.
The person I traded with told me he doesn't think it's ever been shot. It was his Dads rifle that sat in his closet. This thing is Mint. I'm 100% that no saftey recall work has been done either.
What's it worth. I don't have the original box.
Has really nice piece of wood and blue is Mint also.
What should this rifle be priced at ?
