Worth every bit of $300 if in the condition you say
They don't show up often in 28ga. Took me many years to find one for the collection and mine is far from mint

Ok thanks for the replies. Personally I hold the old single shots in higher regard than what book value says. When I see the currently made singles (Rossi , Yildiz , Boito) sell for $200-300 they feel like cheaply made inferior toys compared to the classic old ones like Savage , Cooey & Winchester.

There is a few 28ga collectors out there not many but a few ( three at least on this site maybe more) and this model would be one most would not have
I know if I need one I would be buying it but I don't need two
It was way easier for me to get 28ga in model 840 and 84 than it was a 220
took years in fact
