If the CSA 58 operates like the CZ 858 the problem isn't so much damaging the brass as throwing it everywhere. When I bought my 858 I had a bunch of commercial brass cased 7.62x39 (Federal or Winchester, can't remember which) that I had picked up for my SKS. Took it to the range & fired about 60 rounds. Of that I think I found 15 cases. It threw the brass all over the place & never the same place twice. After than I just bought non-corrosive steel cased stuff & used it. If you shoot at a range where there is no grass and you can find the cases then reloading is viable. If there is much ground cover your loss rate is going to make reloading pretty expensive.
223 or 762 model? I reloaded for the 223 - improved the accuracy of my VZ drastically. On average I'd get 4-6 firings per case, had to trim every other firing, sometimes every third firing on thicker brass. Make sure to get a headspace gauge (Lyman makes a "Drop in" one that tells you instantly if your brass is out of spec pre and post full length resizing).
7.63 x 39.
I loaded 7,62x39 when I owned VZ-58 some time ago which I sold since. Anyway, I used Prvi Partizan brass & 123 soft point .311" bullets with 26 grains of Reloader 7. The brass worked 100% feeding and extracting. The economic side of that whole thing did not make a lot of sense, nevertheless, I managed to squeeze 1.8 MOA accuracy out of it but I think I hit the accuracy limit wall. That is the problem with loading 7,62x39, for the size & weight of the projectile not enough case powder capacity and very limited selection of .310"-.311" bullets. As fun or hobby, sure, you can load up. Improve accuracy ? Yes, with limited success. Economically, no. Ejections did not cause any damage to the cases.
