Stop trying to put optics on rifles not designed for optics comrades....lol.
I had a VZ58 when they first came to country, the original restricted versions were the only ones available at the time.
I played with it for a while, ultimately didn't think it was that great and sold it. Too heavy, uncomfortable to shoot with fixed and folding stocks, not overly accurate, had reliability issues, painted finish, beaver barf furniture, it was a long list of dislikes lol.
I realized I would rather have 6 SKS then 1 VZ58 back then. Not sure what that ratio is today, but pretty close to the same lol.

Sell CSA and buy original CZ would be my answer. There's a reason they are prohibited now, strictly speaking CZs are conversions of military rifles.

I don't particular care about these things but this is categorically incorrect. The cz 858 lines have sub-lines which are converted autos. Those are prohib. CSA and a bunch of sub contractors made some non-converted receivers. Those are non-resricted.

obviously this is confusing to the general public. The correct solution which the CPC acted is to say "if it shoots semi-auto its fine" where as the sh!tasspartyofcanada says "fugunownerfupersonalproperttoo".

The correct COA for the derpaderps in ottawa is to say "Whoops, I don't live in the rest of Canada, I'm a city nerd, and city nerds can probably need their own legislation. So, lets back off on stupid laws that don't make sense and make police great again" but until police are actually elected like a correct republic good luck with that.

Looks like we have made it to that point in a thread where the OP injects new issues about "Canada" rather than addressing the advice regarding his uberlubrication issue.

I used to lube the #### out of everything, too. On my Vz and my SVT-40 until I was advised by old experience to not. Since then, my commie guns still run flawlessly, stay cleaner and I don't get oil spraying out my rifle.

1.) I've broken 2 firing pins in less than a crate of ammo. Firing pin not fine.
Thats a sh!tty deal, sorry to hear and not the first time ive heard that happening to CSA VZs, a legit complaint for sure!
2.) New firing pins cost $40. Locally made ar15 pins are $13. Firing Pin price not fine.
Its a less produced gun then the AR by a long shot, so what do u expect? I bet the firing pun for a SL8 costs alot as well.
3.) I've broken a bolt also in less than a crate of ammo. Bolt not fine.
Same as complaint #1 real crappy
4.) Requiring eastern European parts to mount optics indicates it doesn't lend to our domestic needs. Mounting optics not fine.
Ummm NO. Its a platform designed in eastern europe during the cold war. Do u think they gave a sh!t about supporting western designs back then ? Eastern European optics work 100% on it. So no valid complaint here.
5.) Normal new cost here is $1400. Ar15 are purchased for 1/2 that here. Price not fine.
1000usd gun, new production, niche market, milled steel receiver, impressive barrel, chrome lined, stainless piston. Convert to cad with dollar and yah, it comes out to 1300+.
People often argue that the SKS would cost a 1000usd to produce nowadays as well.... price fair for wat it is.

6.) Needs an aftermarket deflector for optics? Ejection not fine. Meh, not any bigger deal then a AR needing a cantilever scope mount to get proper eye relief. Or any optic setup on a M1a.
7) The gremlin. Must I? Gremlin not fine.
Thats just a 858 thing mostly
8.) But comrade, rifle is fine?
Yes indeed comrade. Rifle so fine, even Kalashnikov wishes he invented it.

Addressed the issues for ya...
