This gun is a bit strange its a Counet/Francotte with German connections German steel and german Retailer marked its a 5 shot but chambers a shortened 45 70 case So about a 45 60 is what it shoots.
Its so over built it can handle the rd loaded pretty hot!!
Its a Canon that will kill just about anything i figger
Them bullets in this older pic one is a 45 long colt the other was a longer Rd made from a 45 70 case. Now it chambers the shortened 45 70 case rim and all.
just a 1/2 inch shorter than the Regular 45 70 rd.
Im exprimenting with 8 and 9 gr Trail boss loads with a HB 258 Dia 260 gr bullets.
