I'm sure you already know, but anyone who has knowledge of the exam is not allowed to talk about any of the contents... That being said it is an aptitude test, you can't really study for it. Best advice is to relax and do you best. As with every exam, take the first five minutes review the entire package, focus on your strengths, don't get stuck on any particular problem. You can come back to it if you have time at the end. Good luck.

BTW I scored a 4.2 on mine, got through the interview, pare, and poly. Still didn't get in. If you aren't into it 100% you will not be successful. Also you better make sure your $hit doesn't stink.

Well this isn't really an intro but didn't know where else to put it. Im going to write my RPAT in a couple hours. Has anybody here written it+have advice? Any RCMP on here aswell? Apperently from what I heard you need a low 70's to pass but will only really be considered with 80+ or if you are minority or woman :S

Just relax and don't read anything into the questions. I will give you a hint. If you google search 'predictive analysis' and check it out, you will see what I mean about not reading anything into the questions on the psych portion of the test.

Other than that, snap memorization of the pre test books is tested for (hope you have been working with flashcards to 'excercise' that part of your brain)
and a little common sense.

Good luck. 4.79 on mine.

If you hit 4 or higher you will get a package in the mail for sure. I passed with a 3.69 but will not get a package. I am an A/Cst, looks like it is going to stay that way! I hate tests...

Well I wrote it. It was easy as hell lol. Exept some of the vocab I had never heard in my life. Other than that. Just Peaches. But I thought you couldn't apply RCMP if you have been charged with somethin illegal within 3 years. But Now I find out it doesn't matter if you were charged. So I mean, I could've had one puff of a friends _______ a year ago, and I gotta wait 2 more years? So what if I talked on the cell phone while driving yesterday I gotta wait another 3 years :S !?!?!? Oh well I'm too young anyways, somethin tells me they don't really want an 18/19 yearold anyways.

Anywho...How long does it take to find out the results then get the package if you are a chosen one?

My understanding is they really don't want white males right now. Quota is apparently 30% female, 20% visible minority, 10% native..I guess that leaves a little room for white males but to "catch-up" you may see very few white males hired for the next few years.

As long as you can tie your shoes by yourself you might qualify??
