50 BMG is for pussies and guys with small dicks. :p:p If my ##### ever shrinks to where it feels like I'm rolling a marshmallow to piss, this is the gun I want. .5 MOA to 3K Supersonic out to 5K.

Dirteemax, the load you quoted... is that a load that tends to work well in all the .50's you've owned or was it developed specifically for one rifle? I have a quantity of IVI Match brass, RWS primers and both Lapua and A-max bullets but have not done any load development with these quality components. So far just a diet of .650gr ball, CCI no35's and PMC brass from my Steyr HS.50

I have been getting some good tests out of my PMC brass, rugar primer, amax bullets and US 869 using about 230 gr. has yeilded sub .5 moa. I am still working on a final load as I just got the amax bullets.

In a stock Armalite AR-50, my load was 217gr H50BMG, A-max, CCI primer, in both PMC and LC97 brass.
Also had a plinking load of 225 gr H50BMG under some AP bullets that shot pretty well....
Rifle has been rebarreled since, now down to 209.5 gr H50BMG......and trying some IVI brass this year. I've found that I need to keep A-maxs under 2750 for them to group decent...just my .02.

I haven't had a chance to do load development, but apparently the Steyrs like LVD bullets seated very long.
