Just wondering what kind of interest there would be in M1 Garand sights? I know quite a few people strongly prefer them to the stock Norinco M14 sights. Probably around $95 each (shipping included). I may have several shortly.

Mine just came in the mail from the slow boat from Italy today. $75 shipped and although it took about a month, I'm happy and they are in excellant shape.

Looking real good! Still waiting for mine from Andy. He sent them the last week of 'Jan so I'm sure I'll have them by next week. Slow is right. asphalt599 I'm sure you'll sell them fast. Demand is always high for these sights.

As you stated: $95 shipped, yes I feel that's a good price. On par with what I've seen on Ebay.

The wait wasn't an issue. It's just the fact that they were damned hard to get, and locally for $95 I wouldn't have bothered sending to Italy

Hard to find, and at a good price. Ebay usually has but alot of the US guys refuse to ship to Canada. Hopefully as their economy continues to tank they'll change their tune.

The pre-2009 Norc/Poly sights had lousy/crappy heat treated elevation/windage knob combinations. Good for minute of moose backup iron sights if you scoped your M14, though. :D If that can work for you, then the Zhinese High School shop heat treated rear knobs are fine! :)

On the other hand; if you are a dedicated iron sight shooter like myself who has no intention of scoping the M14 rifle, then more reliable iron sights are needed. Now I did report that the 2009 Poly I owned was made with better sights, but some of them are still a crapshoot. :sniper:

So with those considerations in mind, M1 Garand elevation and windage knobs are the route to go. :p

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Barney

I am waiting untill Monday so I can call and find out a few things. I'm not sure what is going to happen at this point. I also have to shell out a fair bit or cash up front and hope it works out.
