America because manufacturers made a lot of ar15 type rifles in 2016 and 2017 plus other guns. Trump becoming President , gun control
fears dropped. So they have to sell off inventory

Places like RSR and brownell are paying $360/380 usd for theae guns.
They are very very basic gun and alot of non us made parts .
Much like the colt expandis or what ever it's called.
They are a budget made product .

Demand pushing prices up? What demand. The whole industry has been moaning how demand is down since trump won, and prices have been going down with it. A lot of AR manufacturers did a whole lot of channel stuffing and over production in the run up to the election, assuming Hillary would win and they could continue the AR ban fear mongering.

A lot of the big manufacturers are now selling off their bottom shelf inventory and overruns at rock bottom prices.

Say what now? The only way my ARs get lost post C71 is in a tragic boating accident on my way to the gunsmith.

Oh, and if Your firearms is registered as a whole firearm, instead of receiver only, when they come to take it, they will be taking the whole thing. Anything you plan on keeping had better be removed from the firearm before the jackboots get there. But don't worry, its not actually going to happen.

Wholesale stock has pretty much dried up. New stock is coming in but at a higher price point. Still decent pricing.

The dollar is probably playing the most significant factor, even a the 0.03 cents, plus a price increase within Industry (only speculation) the overall costs are going to go up. Not to mention that most transport companies are all charging more now because of the Carbon tax, and paying increased fuel prices. The price is 100% dependent on the environment, and we all end up suffering.
