Dented case WTH?????

I use the hornady wax seems to do the trick

I have a collet die for my belted mags.....they say to only use wax no other lube

I have to use the wax on my 6x45 also, the die is super tight and too much friction with other types of lube

I was getting similar dents and I backed off the die about 1/4 turn and it stopped denting.

Try cleaning the crud out of the locking ring too. If the ring seals to the die body and the vent is behind the ring......

I had a 7.62x54R die do the same denting thing once and discovered that the die had some rust spots in it. Some 0000 steel wool fixed the isue.

Hydraulic dents, caused by lube on the shoulder. Stop putting lube on there and it will go away.

Imperial sizing die wax is the best stuff out there!
