Depriming Lapua Palma 308 Brass

I have acquired proper small deprimer pins to deprime my Lapua Palma Brass. Is there some reason to not use this small diameter depriming pin to deprime my regular large primer sized 308 brass. Hoping I can learn this the easy way, not in my usual fashion, the hard way. Thanks!

My rbcs dies all come with the same size pins.

Yes. Use small pin for everything. DO NOT make the flash hole larger.

Lapua Palma brass requires a small diameter deprimeing pin, regular .308 Lapua brass does not. Just another reason I won't go to Lapua Palma brass.
