Ah, so you are the guy that bought that from Max/electrobug. I was wondering if he was ever going to be able to sell that! It must shoot amazingly well. Were it in the U.S. it might fetch a pretty penny, just for its sheer uniqueness. Here it Canada it sits on the EE for 6 months! But it is still a hell of a unique find.

As a big M13 guy myself, I'm curious as to how it performs.

What is the date code on the other side. It will be somewhere around "IE" (84) to "IK" (89) given the "W-Germany" marking.

There might even be one for sale from a time-to-time! :) :) :) And for whatever reason, they never really went up in value like their uber expensive cousins in the P7 series.
 
IG is the date of the M13 Sport and it was a very good shooter as was the M13 Longslide I sold recently. Only reason for their sale was my dislike for the double stack P7 guns due to their poor fit in my hand. I really wanted to like it as the 13 round capacity with M10 mags is a great bonus in Canada but I could not get used to the ergonomics.

If it was in USA the P7M13 Sport (one of 2 P7 Sports in North America) would be guaranteed to sell for 6K+ and more likely over 10K+ on a good day as was shown by the recent sale of a P7M13SD (one of 34 in USA) for $12,250 at auction. I had it up for sale on the EE for a long time and kept lowering the price until it reached levels close to a plain jane M13. It sold for so little as funds were needed for an upcoming purchase. Was the need not there, I would be happy to still have it in my possession. Recently on HKpro someone saw photos I posted of the pistol and offer to buy it for big $$$ including export/import costs. I learned from this the market for rare collectable guns in Canada is very limited and if I was to sell my collection it would surely go down south. Its a shame really as I would prefer the guns to stay in Canada but its just a much bigger market in USA with many more firearm enthusiast.
 
Love all the pictures. Great skills and beautiful guns. I could post my HK USP, Walther P99 and P1 and Glock 22 (gen2) but would be sullying the post both due to the run of mill pistols and photography skills!
 
As soon as I started to shoot the p7 m13 I decided to sell my other 2 9 mms it shoots effortlessly an every time I bring it to the range people look at it strangely and I let them try it. Everyone is always impressed, definitely gave me the p7 bug. Even though it was pricey and i can probably get more than my money back if I sell it, I'm going to keep this one, because I know if I get rid of this one ill never find another and regret it. One day I'm going to do a good cleaning of everything and do a proper photo shoot.
