Derya 9mm 12" Bolt Action Synthetic Non-Restricted

Ya, i was hoping for a number along those lines and so I have to pass for now.
I'm hoping they're wildly popular and ruger makes one in their ranch series or their bolt action pistol calibre series, the 77. It wud cost more but it wud be less Derya.

Why the hell are those pistol caliber bolt actions so expensive anyway? Levers too??
GREED comes to mind........:)

What the hell? Is this yet another word or phrase that the website censors? I'm losing track of 'em.

Let's see: bag-licker. BAG-LICKER. baglicker. bag licker.

Nope, it works, no problem. What's the deal, John? Are you now self-censoring to save CGN the trouble? I hate to say it, but...you're part of the problem!!! :ROFLMAO:

I’m glad you asked John…:)

I’ve been given a demerit point and warning for using the term bag-licker. At the time I was referring to the corrupt Liberals.

There was a certain moderator on here that had a hard-on for me for several years. He seems to have backed off for now.

Hence the @ instead of an a!…:)

Go figure!.........

I was going to order one lastnight but after looking at other rifles available at the same price , such as rugers, savages czs I couldn't justify the price.
None of those makers have a 9mm bolt action rifle, so this comparison is apples to oranges.

If there was another bolt action 9mm out there I wouldn't be paying $700 for Turkish crap either but here I am... I would gladly pay for something from CZ or whomever but it's not an option.
This ^

Once someone recieves one, please post a review. Especially pertaining to 50 yard accuracy. If they're decent shooters, I want one for backyard gopher duty haha.
Agreed! I still love shooting my rimfires and use them more than any centerfires I own, but for pest use in the yard and immediately around it, pistol-caliber carbines are way more fun. I'm talking about leverguns or singleshots in .44mag or .357mag in my case, not banned semiauto's. A 9mm bolt gun fits right in.

If you want a 9mm bolt it's this one or nothing, at least for now. No point in talking about other guns you can buy for the same money...not that there are many at all! If you want a pick-up truck, then buying a sportscar that happens to cost the same money does nothing for you. Only a truck can do truck things. If you want a 9mm bolt gun, you need a 9mm bolt gun, not a rimfire or .223 or 7.62x39.

The closest would be the Ruger 77/357.

And that rifle currently sells for $1600 in Canada.
(Not to mention the price of magazines for that rifle.)

Perfect example. More than twice the price...and it doesn't shoot the ammo that many of us have in large quantities in our basements...and doesn't use the magazines that we have stacked up in the closet.

Not really a useful option for many of us. Plenty of owners of that Ruger will still want this new gun for the mags and ammo it uses. Let's face it, this gun is like so many others that are coming out nowadays; if it weren't for the idiotic government bans and restrictions we must deal with, few shooters would even look at it.

I actually took a hard look at the 77/357. For the price it doesn't exactly cycle nicely. A gun should be at least mostly reliable with the ammo types you would expect to put through it. About the only stuff it liked was RN or sharp TC style bullets.

If it works, it's worth it.

If it doesn't work, maybe someone will copycat it. Does Norinco want to play in this space?
