So I finally got out to test the new shotty. Sorry i don't have any pics from the range. But so far, this thing is amazing! Well worth the money. Honestly ate everything I fed it. From champion target load to 3" slugs, never skipped a beat. Easy to disassemble and clean afterwards. Smooth action. The ONLY issue I had, was the bolt release. It wouldn't release the odd time, you could still use the bolt handle to release. I cleaned it out after the issue was first found, and hasn't gave me and problem since(200 rounds later). Love it...

These guns kick arse. I went out to the range today and put a couple of boxes of score canada 1 oz slugs through mine no issues. Using the flip up sights i was able to group about a five inch group at one hundred yards. I was very impressed with how easy it was to do , all things being equal it is even more accurate from 25 to 50. I dont profess to be a slug gun marksman but with practice this baby can get it done .

So the bolt release I THINK is related to how hard the mag spring pressed on the shells. So hard that the springs in the gun can't push the bolt forward.

Be careful as the bolt lock has been modified from the MK10 which inadvertently released at inopportune times and now the MK12 the user is required to pull the bolt leaver back alla a Ruger 10/22 to have it cycle to go into battery.

What choke were you using?

Who retails these and how much are they? I've been shopping around for a fun semi 12 and this is the first time I've seen one. They look good and if they're reliable might be just what I've been looking for.

Reliable sells them: $949. They ship FAST and they sponsor local DSSMatch.com Tac Rifle matches!

Wanstalls has them, and they sponsor matches too!

I believe that the bolt release wont function on an empty mag. Which might be what youre talking about.

Ill give another warning on having the charging handle on the left side. While you might think its a good idea. The bolt release is very sharp and very pronounced. I sliced my finger on it using the charging handle.

I say keep safe. Leave it on the right side.

Okay I'm 0 for 3 for getting my questions answered in this thread but I will try anyways lol...

Where/what are the included sling mounts?

They are proprietary and are OEM located on the left side of the front rail and the buffer tube plate. They are similar but not exact to the attached picture.
