Pump vs semi. Hard to compare.
Of the (10) shotguns I own, none of them are semi. I'll eventually have one but it likely won't be this one due to cost. I like the look of it. I'm just not sold on it being worth it for me at that price point.
For that kind of coin I'd rather have an AR-15 as opposed to something made to look like one.

Hmmmmm, I found the exact opposite. It is tough to spend the money on a WC Border Patrol (~$1,500) or a TacOrd 870 (~$1,950) when I could get a cool mag feed semi for less.
Exactly. Most people don't seem to realize this.
If the Derya functions well and is of decent quality I'm willing to bet it will sell lots of the mk10.

Msrp is "manufacturer suggested retail price"
Generally speaking O'Dell's dealers have been at or below O'Dells msrp quite consistently.
Realize what? The price comparison between a "boutique grade custom" and a rack grade custom?
The Derya certainly is the most attractive offering based on this particular design. I hope its design is well thought out and it doesn't turn into another Saiga situation as far as reliability and function goes.

so whats the choke situation with these are they just coming with a door breacher/flash suppresser or are there a set of chokes included or at least available thanksO'Dell's just posted on FB that these are heading out to dealers now. Black is MSRP $1100, Colors are $1150
They use benelli chokes too... the Turkish over under I bought uses the same chokes as my benelli m4. I'm willing to bet these are the same.
There really isn't anything out there on this .... ive been searching tediously for the past week. Im going to buy the one I have the deposit on and take the chance on it, provided it is black and has the ctr looking stock. Otherwise I'm going to pass on it. I don't like the look of the other stock at all. I know I can change it but 1100 is enough

Unfortunately, those are the chances one takes when willing to be an early-adopter.
The UTAS 15 comes to mind when thinking of worst case scenarios.
