Well gentlemen, I shot one last week & was an IMMEDIATE 'fanboy'. Really like the Holosun HS510C red dot.

Here's a quick video of me putting 5 light birdshot through it.

I was the one taking the video. I keep forgetting how much recoil a semi will absorb compared to a pump. I had my 870 out and I could definitely tell the difference and I my 870 all ddckednkut seemed heavier.

Can anyone cycle target load?

I put ~150 rounds through last weekend, @ the end it was cycling target loads. Cleaned it & will be testing it this weekend again.

I also bought a larger bolt release from T&T Arms and had my local gunsmith Jason Spencer @ Gunco install it as it needed fitting.

Very happy with it.

Fun looking new addition. :) Enjoy

Thanks, it sure is!

I did have a little issue I thought I should mention to folks wrt the Holosun I have on mine... These four screws came loose today, they hold the protective hood on over the optical lens.

Loctite to the rescue! Lol  :ar15:

Cheers

Tried one with clay pigeons. Doesnt quite feel right but shoots real well. Using the holo sight on clay is pretty amusing and really natural.

mine cycles any target loads perfectly after having done a break in period. This shotgun likes to have it's components a bit more wet then most shotguns though and that keeps things running smoothly. Last trap day I did, I shot 125 rounds of target loads through it (black goose, winchester, federal) and not a single malfunction. I have gone on a few duck hunts with it as well over Xmas and brought home ducks every time.

A coworker at my last post had one. Neat gun. Ran everything we tried through it except low recoil work slugs. Wouldn't cycle those. Cheapest target load? No prob.

I really like it, especially the 'shake awake' technology. $405 plus tax

Bought it because a buddy has one, and he's got ~900 rounds through his Derya with this optic on it & no issues.

I love my Derya too :) wondering if the new versions have any oring on the gas piston, read on another forum and was told they don’t and that the barrel is held on by one bolt instead of two. The dealer I contacted said they have one oring not two and the barrels are still held on by two bolts. Manual shows 2 oring, confused

I can only speak to mine & my buddy's...

The split o-ring is steel, and our barrels have one retaining screw. The barrel is held onto the receiver with a nut, and an AR15 wrench is what's needed to remove the barrel.

When most folks think o-ring, they likely think of a rubber o-ring but that is not what is on the Derya. I can post pics later if someone is curious.

Cheers
