Barrel 'retaining' screw. Once the barrel nut is removed, this is the only thing holding the barrel in the receiver.

"just buy one already" lol id rather count the wrinkles on a dogs balls then buy another Turkish shotgun! Ive seen, shot and handled more Turkish shotguns then you can shake a stick at and I have YET to witness one work first hand.
They either utilize crappy metals, have dangerously machined components or receivers, pins swapped out with finishing nails, optic rails that literally fall off after 250 rounds. And even if you manage to get a well made one, getting one that actually cycles reliably enough that you can shoot competitions with it is another challenge altogether lol.
my buddy has a MKA 1919 match gen 2 that to this day (after being sent back to TI AND had well over 500 rounds thru it) is LUCKY to empty 3 mags consecutively without having a malfunction. Hes not the only one, almost all the turkish shotguns I see at 3 gun matches fail at some point in the day. Young Guns, a Canadian utubers praises his, releases all sorts of videos of him tinkering with it, but yet to this day, i believe his turkish shotgun wouldnt cycle an entire case of target loads without a malfunction.....
Well this thread convinced me. With the sale at SFRC 856 all in![]()

So what, 5 of you are lucky, heck maybe 10 of u are lucky, but then 11th guy gets one thats a complete basket case. The turks dont give a sh!t, so the retailer cant do much, so that guy ultimately ends up loosing big. Cycle repeats. Some models are worse then others. Many of you are happy with your Turkish shotguns, meanwhile a bunch of us arnt. So dont act surprised when u publish a thread marketing these shotguns to newcomers, and end up having a little negativity from burned customers mixed in amongst the praise.
Murray 3-D, if you don't have a Derya MK12 & aren't specifically speaking to it, you're derailing the thread... Why not post your Turkish shotgun experience, with specific models and problems etc in another thread?
As for me & my Derya, another ~100 rounds went downrange without a single issue. Slugs, buckshot & birdshot.
3 other guys (one member here & two range newbies) shot my Derya MK12 & it was smiles all around. General consensus was "what an awesome shotgun!"![]()
Anyone want to clean it for me, lol.
Cheers
Jay
So I was the guy who was able to handle and let some rounds free (wish I could have sent some more) but there's always next time. I'm not a big shotgun guy, tbh I had a moss 590ai spx which was good fun till i lost the rear ghost ring. Anyways I'd gladly pick one of these up if I find a deal, action was smooth and the trigger break was crisp, pairing it with the Holusun optic just completed the package. Definitely not a piece that would be collecting dust. @Jay range trip soon! don't forget the Deryaas for the two other lads, they are driving back to Tdot thinking of where they can go get their PAL's.
