Just ordered one of these and was looking for some spare mags for it,and was wondering any derya owners could tell me what mags actually fit,and cycle correctly through them? Given most of the Turkish shotguns use similar mags, there has to be a few that are fully functional in the MK12.so any first,or even second hand experience on what mags work and what don’t?

Well your going to be looking for the uzkon AS46 pump action 10 round magazines. Gets you 10 rounds but with the trade off of no hold open on the last round. Other than that the ones for the derya mk12 work fine and should be readily available.

If you want a 10rd you will have to buy one of these ,
The uzkon will not work... they all look the same but are not

The difference is in the various manufacturers. Some of them have a differently shaped follower. Look for the ones that have the same follower as your gun.

For example, the semi Derya MK12 will run with these pump action Uzkon AS46 mags from Reliable. https://www.reliablegun.com/en/uzko...0rds-for-uzkon-as46-pump-action-shotgun-as-46

Not just the follower , the uzkon mag was so tight in the magwell it would barely go in with lots of force
My Mka1919 liked the uzkon, my mk12 did not.

Mags for centrefire semis are pinned to 5. Hence the 10/5 round notation.

I am aware of that. I thought that the Axor MF-2 was an option like the Uzkon AS46 for a true 10 round mag. I guess the Axor is made for people that want the 10 round mag look, and the mag only holds the legal 5 rounds....I ordered 4 of the Uzkon AS46 from Lockhart Tactical.

Good idea getting the ones from Lockhart Tactical - they have their AS46 mags clearly marked as being for the Uzkon pump action shotgun - in case you run into someone who insists "you can't use a 10-round mag in a semi-auto".

The LT ones do have a different follower that does not work well with the Derya MK12.

Well, so far mine are working great with no problems. The only thing "That doesn't work well" is that they don't have the hold open bolt feature on the last round, which is no big deal, at least for me, plus the 5 extra rounds make the gun a little heavier, but it's livable.

Yeah, they laser engrave them on both sides so there is no doubt. It's similar to the 10 Round 308 XCR mags used in the BCL 102. The Uzkons are a bit on the expensive side at $60.00 ea plus taxes(12%) and shipping(If applicable, I paid $15.00) but they are very nice mags. You gotta pay to play I guess....

Just you wait one day I will have em too just not now since bcl and stag needed more xcr mags

We never seem to have enough money to buy all the things we want for our Firearms...:( I picked up 4 of the XCR 10 round mags for my BCL 102. I paid $34.00 ea for them from Wolverine Supplies...:)

That's good to hear. I am glad to be incorrect on this point. Others have reported back to me that they do not work reliably. Glad they work for you.

Cheers

Yeah, thanks Moe. You'll notice I wrote "So far they are working great with no problems". I hope it stays that way...:)

I have a Derya 5/10 round magazine. I need to remove the spring and follower but the rivets they use go all the way through and you cannot remove. Can I just carefully dremel the heads off and then just use regular rivets to repair?
Thanks
