Derya TM-22 Pro restricted?

I'm shopping for a 22LR and I like the Derya TM-22 Pro with 16" barrel. However, it's out of stock everywhere. There's a non-Pro version with an 18" barrel that is in stock everywhere, so my first thought is that the 16" barrel has become restricted or prohibited. The googley doesn't give a definitive answer on this, and none of the online stores actually says "prohibited" under the inventory item.

So are they now not available or is this just a stock issue?

For a 22lr 16" is plenty long unless you plan 'long distance accuracy' - in which case you would be better served with a CZ or even 'better'.

So, funny story (well, funny to me, anyway)... I logged in to read Buck1950 's post and while I was here I clicked on the link in post #1, just to take a look. And surprise, the firearm was in stock. Slightly peaved that I hadn't gotten an email from Tenda (I'd signed up for alerts when stock comes in), but went ahead and bought it.

When I went into my email for the order confirmation, there was the in-stock alert from Tenda, dated seven minutes earlier. Must have given them whiplash.

Is restricted even a category anymore?
Yes. Semi auto centrefire with barrels under 18.5", and anything with a collapsing or folding stock and an OAL less than 26". Plus handguns - even if you cant buy them, they're still owned by lots of people.

Most of what sells as R these days appears to be shotguns, eg:
