I'm on the verge of buying a Derya TM22, to add to my collection of cool 22s. But I'm concerned that this unit will be banned by the diaper wearing bunch known in Canada as Liberal bed Wetters. Should I just buy a lever action or what?

It sure seems that anything fun or that a young person might be exited to buy and shoot, or find cool, is a problem for the Liberal hive mind.

### change hormones and assisted suicide for people struggling with mental health is a ok, but having kids go from video games to airsoft to shooting sports is a bridge to far!

No one needs these weapons...... well except the Ukrainians...... Slava Ovium!

Might I suggest a slingshot if you want a device the Liberals might not take from you in the near future? Though they still might. Maybe a stick. But NOT 2 sticks tied together, Prohibited.

And while they are doing this to us, they will reduce sentence for criminal even more, so criminal will vote liberal.

I am having the same issue. I really want a cheap, .22 semi that takes 25 rd mags. Not for precision. Not for hunting. Just for fun plinking amd mag dumping. I really like the derya but if they can ban the mossberg 715t they sure as hell can ban the derya later. Which is why i am thinking of a savage a22 or 64. A lot cheaper too so if they do get capped to 5 rnds it it not much of a write off, financially. I have bolt and lever.22 that are much nices and way more accurate, plus they can eat garbage ammo all day long. Too bad though, since the derya is apparently nice and hefty unlike most tactical .22s.

Another option is the cz512. Much more expensive at 700+ but wooden and very fud like. Also very good quality for a .22.

Then again, maybe ill just say Fcuck it and grab a derya

Sock boy and his band of sycophants have already "banned" the Derya MK12 shotgun, it's as close to an AR as this TM22 is...which is to say=NOT AT ALL close to being an AR. Fun gun too, I don't own one but I have spent time behind one. Great fun!

Anyhow, it's not about this gun or that gun, the Liberal government wants an end to all private gun ownership. Since most people on CGN appear to be buying guns that even made the news with this massive, unjust amendment to C-21, it's sort of a decision (now) to either buy and take the chance, or don't buy and never get a chance to own/use. Since the tool used to deprive law-abiding handgun owners meant, in part, that they're going to ban the importation of any new guns as I understand it..it might make sense to buy one, use it...while they're still available. The more guns in the hands of the law-abiding=the bigger the job the Liberals have to try and take them away.

This current climate doesn't put me in a buying mood, but the prospect of not being able to buy a given model when the mood strikes=not good either.

The only negative I can see with the Derya is the way it screws apart, other then that it looks like a pretty well built and solid plinkster.

I'm amazed that people still think the government will stop banning guns at some point.
Once all the semi autos are gone, the lever actions and pumps will be next.
Look at Australia.

Lol I don't know that the gang bangers go out and vote.

I cant see that either but I bet if they do vote, they vote Liberal. Logically, as a criminal, they are the obvious choice with sentence reductions etc.

What gang bangers will do though, is keep gang banging, and the Liberals will use this to sell to the sheep that only they have the answer in the form of more gun control (which gang bangers dont follow anyways).

Its quite the scam when you think about it but it shows what the game is and how gullible the average voter is.

Murray Smith has already told the SCU that any firearm that 'looks' like an AR is a variant...... doesn't matter if it's a shotgun, rimfire and has zero parts or construction like an AR etc etc.

If it makes you happy, get it and use it. Dont let ANY brain dead, soul-less, liberal trash keep you from enjoying life. Just because they have no idea how to be happy, doesnt mean you have to suffer with them.
