Derya TM22

Can anyone confirm as to whether or not the new version with the adjustable stock and full length handguard has the "corrected" safety? Corrected being down for fire, up for safe. I read in another thread that people are getting corrected safeties.

I have the new version, white with the full length hand guard, and the safety is 'down to fire & up for safe'. Bought about 2 weeks ago in Edmonton

What kind of accuracy are people getting out of their rifles? I see people are generally saying the accuracy is good, but nothing more specific than that. What are we talking? Like, 1-2” groups at 50 yards depending on ammo?

I got 10 shot quarter size groups with a 2 MOA red dot at 25 yards. Federal Bulk Pack and S&B standard velocity ammo. Will try it with a scope when I get a chance.

My original fixed stock and short handguard (bought sept 22) is down for safe up to fire. My new red one I bought last month with adjustable stock and long handguard is opposite. Down to fire up for safe.

Results at 50m using the below listed ammo.

CCI Mini Mags (Varmint & Target) 1" groups
Winchester Super X Hyper Velocity 1-2" groups
Winchester Super X Small Game 1-2" groups
CCI Standard Velocity 1" Groups
Winchester Power Point 42 Max 1-2" groups

I am using a Bushnell 3-9X40 scope. Weather was cool, +1, with a cold ass wind blowing right into my face so I was cold and kind of shaky on the shots.

Hope those sights have some adjustment! Was trying to figure out a clean solution. Mine is not yet in my hands…

Just picked one of these up today. Wolverine Supply has them on sale for a decent price, I picked up a blue model for $431 and they have the Distressed Red and White versions for $449. Doesn’t really say how many mags they come with, hoping for 2 but if it’s only one I won’t be heartbroken. Reality is I need to buy a few anyway lol. I’ve been looking at these for quite some time and this is the best price I’ve seen by far

My son's has a fixed stock with Harris bipod and a Bushnell Match Pro.

I played around with it a bit after getting it to see how it would do with various ammo.

Not extensive testing, and I just ran through it whatever I happened to be shooting that day.

I think it's definitely capable of approaching 1/2" at 50 yds, although I haven't done enough to figure out what it likes best. Also I'm not a great shooter. Ours seems to be hovering around a 1.5 moa rifle with the little bit I played around.

It seemed to like SK Long Range Match but I'll tell you that ain't happening unless the boy starts paying for his own ammo.

These measurements were all outside-outside, so after doing the .22 subtraction this target ended up averaging .548. Nearly 1/2" groups for an average, but not very consistent. At 100 with the same ammo I had groups ranging from 1-2.3 inches so again I had nothing consistent to say how it shoots.

This was a target I shot using SK Magazine, bang for buck this is what I'd choose to use in it if I could find some more.

Blazer, bulk Federal, all the other stuff we've tried gave worse results but the boy likes them for ringing steel plates. And as long as he loads his own mags whatever. He doesn't care about groups, he wants to nail the kyl rack and the various gopher poppers etc on the range. Those ammos do all that.

That's interesting, mine hasn't liked any subsonic I've tried. Subs won't cycle in mine. Standard velocity does however.

Also interesting that you say you like the trigger, mine is probably one of the worst triggers I've used in a while.

Not sure if there is a wide range of trigger quality in these, I've only shot the one I have. Just that I've often read people liking it and I haven't had the same experience.

Mine is the blue one as well . It is 1/2x28 , just not done correctly .
The dia of the threaded portion is 2 thou larger than any other barrel I have that is threaded in 1/2x28.

I've got a blue one (short handguard) as well...thread cap from it goes onto other rifles fine, but thread caps from anything else will not thread more than about a turn onto the TM22. Will running it through a 1/2-28 die fix it up, or does it need a trip to a shop? Did anyone have any luck with a warranty inquiry?

Really wanted to pop a reverse can on it, but didn't want to waste the money if it won't fit.

Filled out the warranty request form on O'Dell's website. One of their smiths got back to me in less than 24 hours, gave me a pre-paid Canpost label and instructions on how to remove the barrel. Absolutely fantastic support and gives me a lot more confidence in looking at some of the other Canuck/O'Dell products (primarily shotguns).

removed extraneous commas, so it doesn't sound , like, I'm talking, like, Shatner.

Good to see they are quick to respond, that’s how it should be. A friend had to deal with O’Dell on an FD-12 shotgun and they were very professional and fixed her problems promptly with zero hassle

Ha! They responded to me with the same issue and told me to pack and send the whole gun to them for repair! I said screw it and sold it!

Anyone have any issues with these failing to pick up a round out of the magazine ?
Mine does it quite often. I’ve never been real big on .22’s, and don’t know a whole lot about what issues they may have. Could it be as simple as the type of ammo ?
