Desert Eagle 1911 G pricing

Got my NP-29 for several weeks and I love it, my heart already jump on a 45 1911. Having wonder around the net, I pretty much want a Desert Eagle 1911, In the state, it was sold about the same price as a STI spartan. But the only source that I have found from one of the site supporting dealer is $910 which is too rich for my blood. Anyone found a better deal somewhere in Canada, please let me know.

personally I'd go anytime for a KIMBER custom II (or stainless II if you can find one) for aprox same budget.
I love mine and speaking from my years of experience with 1911 pistols, I'll always choose a Kimber as my top gun!
Kimbers are tight fit 1911s with the best tolerances btw slide/frame, 100% accurate out of the box ...!!!

Wow, i never knew desert eagle was in the 1911 side of things. They do look very nice though. I would think since they just came into the 1911 business there 1911s are going to be expensive for a little while. Any new product that comes out is going to be set at a fixed price for a while. My personnel opinion.
