Desert Eagle .50 Cal

i have one in .50AE and one in .357mag. i always hated a dessert eagle, and all of a sudden i found a gold one that i had to have. its one of my favorite guns to bring to the range, its an attention getter for sure, and even the people that will tell you they suck and they hate them and cant do anything but talk #### about them willl want to pull the trigger. the recoil isnt bad at all.

No. If you have to buy one get one used. 90% of the used ones are new never fired or have less then 20 rounds on them. Total waste of money. Don’t expect it to run in .50ae. It’s not fun to shoot. If your goal is to just impress other people who don’t know any better and want them to shoot your gun then go for it.

Get it in chrome, put it in your a safe and take it out and polish it every couple months. If you want to shoot it, find a counterstrike 1.6 server or so.

ive put about 500 rds of .50AE through mine with out a hickup. its easy to shoot, and if you want to talk about a waste of money, then you should consider any pistol a waste of money. cant carry them, cant hunt with them.

BS right there.

I once owned a kit build ASM Walker from the early 1980s. Some people don't like it because it was a heavy beast. Foolishly I sold it. It wasn't cherry looking but it was super reliable and very accurate (almost rifle like) with conicals 25-50 yards.
I miss it now.

If you really want one contact Freedom Ventures and see if they have what you want in stock. YOU CANNOT BUY FROM THEM though. Next, go to a dealer that you like and ask them to order it from Freedom Ventures. Years ago when there were zero Taurus Raging Bulls in Canada (at least from dealers) I found 3 at Freedom Ventures and got Epps to order from them for me. All went smoothly without markup from Epps. I think FV lists the retail price and not the dealer price even though they ONLY sell to dealers. Good luck.

Some haters here. Stuff them. I’ve shot a 44 and a 50 DE. Big grip, best for large hands. Recoil isn’t bad because it’s so heavy. As far as shooting powerful handguns a lot, I put 1200 rnds through my 44 Blackhawk. Almost all at the very top of the reloading table. Lots of fun. Those who criticize what toys others use would be better served obsessing about their own lives.
