desert eagle .50 or 44mag

Yes,but where do you buy your reloading component .

Powder and primers are the same between the two, and I have found .500 bullets at Epps, Higginsons, and WSS. The difference being .500 bullets cost around a dollar per, and the the 44 bullets cost about 30 cents.

Cases last well, and are also not too hard to come by. Indeed I think there are some on the EE right now.

I bought my 50 DE some ten years ago, and have never regretted it.

Those things are a gas to shoot - big, uncomfortable totally inefficient, but fun. The 44 is pretty tame, but the 50 has more torque than pretty much anything else I've shot. If you're going that route you need to accept you won't be shooting it a whole lot due to cost, but they are great when you do get to shoot them.

P0WERWAGON do you belong to Poco?
If so we should arange a day to go up there with our 50 AE's and take some pic's just to make all the nay sayer's jelious ;)
Here is a video of my friend blasting mine @ the range;

It only does this when I use the custom reduce recoil round's.

chrisward3 and I seem to have the same philosophy. Get the biggest, baddest, and shiniest DE.50AE you can get. Here's a vid of a buddy of mine shooting it for the first time. Notice how his grin gets bigger and bigger. That, right there, is why I bought it.

It's actually gold titanium. It's the same coating they use on drill bits. It's a very hard coating. I've fired a few hundred rounds through it and you can't tell. There's not a scratch on it.
