I agree! Why not have a wild impractical finish for one of the most impractical handguns currently available. I'm not being sarcastic or giving you a hard time...I really sort of like this gun and if Dianne got me one for Christmas I would laugh but I would keep it and probably never shoot it. It would be the one gun that I would show non-gun friends to see how they react. Phil.

Wild yes. But is the titanium finish really impractical? If money were no object this ones definitely on the list of purchases. Just as a because I can/ why not/ haters gonna hate kind of gun.

The finish is actually a titanium oxide coating (applied at high temperatures) that is very resistant to rust and wear. I know because one of our products used this type of coating.

I'll be the first one to say my DE 50 is impractical. I bought it because I liked it. I smile every time I shoot it, and I'm laughing by the time I'm done. For something that makes me that happy and brings me so much entertainment in an afternoon, it's worth it in my books. I have other pistols I would deem more practical, but this one makes me smile.
