this was a member of a group of shooters I took out on Friday night. He totally surprised me with the speed at which he chose to shoot my .50 AE Desert Eagle, especially since it was his first time shooting it.

Not true, I was able to hang onto the DE 50AE without shifting my hands first time I shot it, never even limp wrist it. Now I never tried rapid fire becuase only had 3 rds. Now I tired a 44mag and a full mag and never had a problem rapid firing it, Well not that fast, but faster then I would using someone elses gun.
yeah that happens with video sometimes, if the frame rate is just off the actual fire ball you don't see it. Trust me, it was there! $7? try $20, $4 a shot is what he was paying to shoot that.

Your club should consider banning drinking (looking at the pop cans on the tables) in the indoor range. It's the second quickest way to lead poisoning that I know of.
