I'm sure most Hunters don't kill animals because it gives them a hard-on - they do it for the meat and because it is a practical means to support/feed your family in most cases. All the hunters I know respect animals. You are starting to scare us dude.

My argument isnt about killing for meat.

And my argument is that you live in a bubble. The world is a harder (not physically harder, I mean mentally) place than you think it is. No, I don't get a "hard on" over hunting. I do enjoy it, and I do it with respect, but you're not even on a plane of existence that I can come close to actually communicating with, so you get an equal, yet diametrically opposite, ridiculous scenario in response from me. It's obvious that you don't realize when a mirror is being held up to your face, and that's sad. (I.e. I'm fighting your dumba*s with dumba*s, and you don't get the irony) Your world is a world of dreams. I don't live there. I just try to do the best that I can, and I laugh whenever the opportunity presents itself; it's a survival skill.

It was dead jerky! You don't know about residual muscle reflex activity after brainwave function has ceased? That Hog was dead for sure within 50+ seconds of the first shot being fired, and he was doomed from the 3rd shot on! MY GAAAAAAAAWWWD; you' re driving me insane with your ignorance! I've got to find a rock to bang my head against now.

Great Idea....Finally you get it....

Handgun hunting is probably not such a good idea after all
It would be a good idea if this moron could shoot.
And Hollow points=BAD IDEA!
Everyone knows on large tough animals like this, a heavy hard cast lead bullet, is the way to go, in a handgun.

"Did you see him turn around and come right at you!"

What astral plane was he on at this very moment??

Embelishment! I did not observe anything that could remotely pass for a charge.

I have hunted wild boar, and salute real hunters what ever decent tool they decide to use, as long as they are competant, ethical persons.

Those seven shots, if required, should have been in rapid succession.

I woulda laughed even harder if that Hog kicked him square in the nuts at the end before it died, but thats just me :D

I should add that it wasnt funny at all, but would have been had the hog kicked that smile right off his face

That was utterly disgusting. I don't have a problem with hunting, though I don't hunt myself. However, finish the pig as fast as possible. It's too bad someone doesn't put 8 rounds in that #######s' legs and then sit around bull####ting for a while before finishing the job. I couldn't even watch the whole thing.

Corpus, you posted it initially and briefly asked if it was wrong that it made you laugh your a$$ off. The question has been answered.

Don't ask questions if you don't want to hear the answer.

For me personally there were two parts that I found sick/amusing. One is where the guy asks if they should finish him off ("oh, no, make it suffer some more!"), and the other is when he goes on about how it was getting ready to charge -- pure South Park gold.

you just have to understand that killing stuff is really, really, really fun. Yes, I know that it's not in nice to say that, but as you can tell, I don't care. I like people, and I respect animals. I'm certainly not going to kill a person, unless they try to harm me or mine, but animals were put here on this earth so that we could kill them, and eat them. It is not wrong to enjoy killing an animal, so long as you do it as quickly and humanly as possible, and eat it after wards. Killing is a huge high. Human being are genetically programmed to kill be cause viewed as animals, we are predators. So, especially when you are hunting an animal that could kill you, the high is doubly-so. What I'm trying to get across is the it's normal to kill. It's natural, and game animals depend upon us doing so or most of them would starve. Killing is fun; bottom line. And if some psychologist tells you differently, well, psychologists are sick twisted homosexuals, so you don't have to listen to them.

[Emphasis added.]

By those snippets I've highlighted, it seems that the hunt itself is what gives you more pleasure than anything. If it was just the killing that gave you pleasure, why go to the trouble of field dressing it, dragging it, etc... if you can just kill it and leave it there? You think ancient man just killed for the hell of it, risking life & limb and expending so much calories for the simple payoff of a "thrill"? No, he did it for the tremendous amount of caloric/raw material value each hunt yielded...

Killing should be the least thrilling part compared to the tracking/stalking/chasing... You've got a high-powered weapon (be it that Eagle or a hunting cal. rifle) that you can shoot at a distance. Granted, it's satisfying to conclude the hunt with something to show for it, but once he had that hog dead to rights (i.e. in his sights while it was walking away), it was just a question of putting it down.

By the way, the Canada vs. USA b.s. that's coming from both sides has to stop; no way for neighbours to treat each other, especially considering that some local members on these boards support the NRA...

Oh man, I didn't think the video was funny or the hunt that great but holy sh*t guys time to lay off the righteous BS.

No issue with people differing in their opinions but sweet jebus some of you guys are way over the top.

This thread has turned into a big F**king ugly fail.

I don't think it was too bad. It was probably one of th best deaths a ferrel hog could have.

The wild options would include:
- getting old and sick, than starving to death or getting ripped apart by coyotes
-breaking a leg in a gopher hole and being imobile, than starving or getting ripped apart....

In all the pig was down pretty quick. He could have been put down sooner, but what the heck, maybe next time. I bet people wouldn't feel bad if the pig didn't scream when it was dieing.

...and then redman read the rest of the thread, realised he had been duped, and then made a fool of himself, and slunk away in shame. LMAO!

You know, a lot of you guys don't even really understand the video, but it's amusing to see how you can only process the world through your cliched prejudices that television provides you with. These men speak with rual accents, and THAT is what you hate. If you actually read the analysis of the video you'd realize that the stuff you are pointing out that you find inhuman or awful is fully explained and reasonable, but you don't want to understand. You just see an opportunity to do as your TV tells you to and off you go. What a joke, you may as well be robots.

Hahahaha. I totally agree. There are so many people in this world that can't kill spiders because they are scared of them, imagine if spiders could scream. You'd have to create a spider response team of emotionally cold spider killers.

The other thing is most people feel no risk watching a pig in a video. If it were a bear, that would be a different story. Most people have an instinctual fear of bear.

I also find it hilarious that Corpus says he posted an article with people dying of starvation (one of the worst deaths possible, in my opinion) somewhere, with no responses. Yet a pig... dying in under a minute... oh the humanity.

But obviously, there are some people in this world, when they think bear or pig, all they see is this:

Huh? Ashamed of what, now? And then duped? Where?

And why single me out? Of all the critical answers you got, I'd say mine included the least personal attacks directed at you lol

agreed. there is nothing good about this video. i hardly call that b.s. sport. what a bunch of low life loosers. no problem saying the same to any one here who some how enjoyed that video.
