I checked on a 50 for my 44 and i think it was around 390 USD and thats for blued (black) you have to add for custom finishes. Plus you need a new mag too. So I'd be close to 500 all said and done.... it wasn't worth it for me, 44 has plenty of kick and the ammo is readily avaliable and compared to 50, its cheap too.

Magnum Research lists a 6", Mk XIX, .44 mag barrel at $389US. A 10" is $459US. The trick will be finding one. Although your local shop may be able to order one if their supplier has one. Likely a special order that'll take a while to arrive.
