I'd love to have one too some day, but considering I could buy three other pistols for that money I'll have to wait until I win the lottery.

This is one gun that is pointless to have in any other caliber than .50

You can actually find .44mag locally and it's like half the price. Plus it's super easy to switch calibers anyways. Better a gun you can actually light up the range with then a safe queen.

I agree, but that rail really uglifys it, IMO.

Too many good looking firearms have been totally ruined by that, when did they start putting them on there? :(
The people who will actually use it are in the minority so why desecrate a clean design like that?

Your links don't work and (as usual) your website is not updated..

We had just opened the boxes when we took the pictures. I'll admit it we all get a bit giddy seeing a gold Desert Eagle. The ones that are left are on the website but the gold one was purchased a half hour after the post. They don't last more than a few days.

Just a reminder: Our website is updated every 12-24 hours. We check the links ourselves and get very few complaints. Reloading the page usually works.

What's up with the 3 ugly socket head screws in the front of the top one? Never seen that before...
They hold the muzzle break on. That hunk-o-metal up front with the hole is the barrel. No inner barrel with a slide over top like other semi's. They have to drill and tap for the break. Actually thinking of getting it done for my .50 barrel.

Yes indeed, I was so blinded by the disruption of that clean muzzle that I didn't even notice it was an entirely separate piece from the barrel. I haven't fired one of these yet but I doubt it could kick hard enough to make me want to deface it like that. :p I'll have one someday just for the cool factor but there are a lot of other guns higher up the list to get first...
