The balance point on these rifles is awesome. I have shot long range for a long time and have even taken the odd target rifle deer hunting, and a day in the bush with a 16lb unbalanced rifle is no fun.

You can actually shoot these off hand for fun with the centre of balance the way it is!

There is a spare bolt/barrel kit available for this model to do a 1 minute .338 Lapua swop.

I have a couple of on hand optic options and will have to see which 30mm tube to put on it to get some range time in.

Will likely go with a Nightforce as the permanent glass unless some rich relative in Europe leaves me a bunch of $$ for the Austrian option!
Will update with a range report when I get her out.

You are wrong, bullpup STOCK KIT are illegal, bullpup firearm are mostly legal, mather of facts most are non restricted like the one here, kel-tec rfb, tavor ;ps90 and fn 2000 with 18.5inch barrel.

No need to get saucy dude lol, wasnt tryin to misinform mearly getting insight to the vagueness of the bullpup info i read on the regs on the gov site thats all

Just need the .338 lapua barrel and bolt to add to this platform so I can shoot .300WM most of the time, and do the 1 minute swop to .338 when appropriate.

The rifle did come from Target Sports and the barrel blanks are premium match grade contracted from Lother Walther to their specs.

"their" meaning Desert Tactical Arms in Salt Lake City right? Target Sports is just the middle man.

I used a Scout Recon 338LM in a Utah desert shoot last summer and it is a very impressive rifle. Enjoy!
 
Yes...barrels made to DTA's specs by LW

There are different price point depending in if yiou obtain a package with accessories of a base rifle.

I think The Shooting Edge and Target Sports are CDN dealers but not sure if either have begun stocking inventory. Might be special order and you should contact them for more info.
 
We don't have any deployment kits available at this time... next shipment is not due to leave DTA until end of March/beginning of April.

Sweet rifle, shame it sounds like it was named by a fat pimply 14 year old Call Of Duty junkie.
 
However much they cost, we'll pay more over here in UK. My shooting buddy is the importer, BTW, but he doesn't do deals for pals.

Academic, really, at around $8000 a pop with one barrel.
