After putting together a bolt that headspaces correctly, and installing the trigger screw bushing, I FINALLY managed to get in a short trip to the range yesterday and try the old girl out. The range I go to only goes out to 100 meters. The old girl in question is below. (The young girl is my daughter):

I was shooting Remington UMC 174 grain FMJ. My first 5 rounds went on an 8.5 x 11 target at 50 meters, just to see what was going on. The top right shots were the first two. Adjusted the rear sight about 4 clicks on the, and the next three went in where you see them. (Sorry for the craptastic photos).

Feeling somewhat encouraged, I went out to 100 meters on an 11 x 17 target. First shot on the left. Clicked the rear sight back a couple. The next 4 shots on the right. I think I like this rifle. :d

And, just for kicks, I think will include this unused pistol target that someone left up, and which I put it out at 100 meters, and this was the result with my 1943 K31 shooting GP11.

Yes. The forestock was inlet for them, but it was not an original. I think it was one of those from Numrich, which I heard somewhere came out of a cache discovered in Greece. They apparently inlet some of them. But I bought it on ebay, so who knows. Anyway, it lacks the slight swell under the front volley sight which was on the originals. The front volley sight is one of the repros offered by Numrich. The rear one is an original. One of these days an original front one will turn up somewhere.
