Hello everyone,

I was wondering what everyone does with there deer, bear, geese, etc. once they are skinned and all the meat is off of them. I have heard of a few people cutting them up and putting them in the garbage or taking them to the bush and letting the "animals" taking care of them. What do you do?

I live in the country, so I toss it in the back of my truck and drive to a wind row and out it goes. The yotes will find it and deal with it for me.

Thanks guys, I just cut mine up and in the garbage it went but i do live 30 sec from the country so that might be a better plan for this year.

Sorry, I don't follow your question.

What carcass?

I leave the guts and hide of animals in the bush and take the meat home and save the bones for soup.

Ducks and geese are plucked at home and the guts and feathers go in the garbage.

The wife and I boned my two piece bear carcus on the kitchen table (she's a keeper by the way). The meat went into sausage and the bones (still held together by cartilage) went into green garbage bags for curb side pick up.

Buddy has sheep and his sheep dogs love bambi bones and he claims they really step up after chowin down and make more coyote kills than any other time of year.
