Has anyone tried badger ordnance's mag conversion kit? Or is there a better one out there for a Remington 700?

I've never tried the Badger stuff, but I do have H.S. Precision's conversion kit on my Rem. 700 22-250. It's all right. Sometimes it doesn't feed right, it buts the nose of the bullet into the ramp that feeds into the chamber. I used to think it only happened when the mag. was full but it's done it with only 1 shell left in it. Kind of annoying when you need a follow up shot on multiple coyotes. There never seems to be any rhyme or reason to when it will screw up.

Look into V-Bull Precisions conversion kit. Apparently it is very reliable and well made, I'll be putting one on my Sendero after the summer. They come with 2 mags and the rest ofthe metal for around $500.

Here is a pic of mine. 700P in .308Win. Put some thin weather strip around mgag to stop it from rattling(only minus). Otherwise I think I have a rifle I will keep for a while.

You had to put weather stripping around the magazine to keep it from rattling inside the magwell? How loose is it?
