Welll, maybe to have choices of ammo. Don't want to waste a $3-4 round on a coy.

Well, I guess that might make a little sense, but seems pretty complex to "save" a few cents. Actually sounds silly to me. But I understand....others have different priorities than me....no disrespect meant.

^ ^ Yep, I get that too. I target shoot and also have 'heavy rounds' for hunting. The 'target ammo' I practice with is ca $1/round, the hunting rounds $3-ish. I use a couple Heavies to check Zero and use holds for the lighter ones. And some 'light varmint rounds' too. I only shoot 10 rounds or so on a range day anyhow, $20-day for that rifle. Some 22s or other rifles between mags for cooling time.
PS - Most of my ammo was bought 'Before' the crazy pricing abounded, so a lot of $1 rounds.
