Detachable scope for easier cleaning?

Did anyone out there opt for detachable mounts on their BP. It would make for easier cleaning with my break open. Personally i've never used them or know anyone who does.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them. Can you still keep zero with taking it on and off all the time?

I have a Picatinny rail on my Savage muzzleloader - more so I can swap scopes on the rifle and with other rifles rather than cleaning. No problem with zero shift

I have Leupold QR rings and bases. They are superbe and the best IMHO and keep their zero!

going to take a serious look at these. it would be great to be able to remove the scope making so easy to just dunk the end of the barrel in the bucket like i always do.

I have warne QD rings on my Super 91. Makes it a lot easier to clean and always returns to zero. They make the bolt action and plunger style actions easier to clean. Not so necessary on the break action types.
